MODEL BEHAVIOUR
May 22, 2013 in first things, kiwi kids style, OMG, Pretty Things, Proud Mama Moments, Taylor
Taylor was part of a fashion shoot last month. I thought it would be a bit of fun, something we could do, just the two of us, while I was on maternity leave. She rocked it like I thought she would. The girl loves to have her picture taken. The day was pretty fun, she liked trying on sparkly pants and sparkly shoes and playing with some new kids. I had my work cut out for me making sure she didn’t ruin the clothes that weren’t ours! For weeks following the shoot the first thing she’d ask in the morning was if we could go modelling again! I wasn’t sure how the pictures looked, as a photographer commented they hadn’t seen the best of her yet – her prettiest smile apparently doesn’t come out for just anyone!
I noticed Taylor’s pictures (from the modelling shoot she did last month) on the babycity facebook page, I thought that was pretty cool. My mum first noticed the pictures in the window of the store! I took Taylor for a look. She thought that was pretty cool. Then we went inside and found her pictures by the clothes she got to wore at the shoot. She was so proud. Even dragging a sales assistant from one end of the shop to the other to have a look. And has now spent the better part of the afternoon asking to be a model again. Worried i’ve created a modelling monster! She looks pretty cute though!
The paper version of the catalog comes out next week. The grandma’s and aunties have put their orders in! Also random fact, the boy in the blue jacket is the son of a guy Kat works with. Wonder what they’ll be talking about at work tomorrow!
